Kicks
The fine print

Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026

The short version

Kicks doesn't collect personal information about you, doesn't run ads, doesn't sell data, and doesn't have a login. We use basic anonymous analytics to know which articles are useful. That's it.

Who we are

Kicks (kicks.kb-prime.com) is operated by KB Prime, based in Leeming, Western Australia. To contact us about your data, email privacy@kb-prime.com.

What data we collect

Analytics

We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count pageviews and see which articles get traffic. This includes:

  • The page URL you visited
  • The page that referred you (if any)
  • Your country (from your IP address, then discarded)
  • Your browser type and screen size

We do not use cookies to identify you. We do not track you across sites. We do not build a profile of you.

Affiliate clicks

When you click a link to Amazon AU, Amazon's standard Associates tracking begins. This is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice, not ours. We see only the aggregate commission Amazon pays — never your individual purchase data.

Email

If you email us, we keep your email until the conversation is resolved. We don't add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
  • We don't run display advertising.
  • We don't use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or similar pixels.
  • We don't have user accounts or store login data.
  • We don't collect children's data. This site is intended for adults.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Because we don't run user accounts, we generally hold no personal information beyond emails you've sent us. Email privacy@kb-prime.com with any request and we'll respond within 30 days.

If something changes

If we update this policy, the "last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be noted in a banner on the site for 30 days.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, contact us first. If we can't resolve it, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
